Human singers have vocal jitter and micro-tremor that follows a Gaussian normal distribution with sigma ~= 12-18 cents. Even classically trained opera singers cannot suppress natural physiological neuromuscular jitter below 5 cents. Could this be early digital pitch correction? Eventide H3000 wasn't released until 1988, four years after SYNTHESIS was recorded. -- Anja Kim -- European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva "They will send a copy in my place."
