Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. The original stardust.c v1.0 dropped sync whenever there was a scratch or surface pop on the record. Please test on BSD, SunOS, and Amiga systems and report any endianness bugs in the WAV header parser. -- Élodie Weber *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) - NetBSD 1.0 From msantos@pacbell.net Fri Oct 28 18:50:28 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!pacbell!msantos From: msantos@pacbell.net (Morag Santos) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1994Oct28.185028.1686@pacbell.net> Date: Fri, 28 Oct 1994 18:50:28 GMT References: <1994Oct27.184728.6154@utexas.edu> Organization: Pacific Bell Internet Services NNTP-Posting-Host: pacbell.net X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 11 In article <1994Oct27.184728.6154@utexas.edu>, eweber@utexas.edu (Élodie Weber) writes: > Released stardust.c v1.3 with improved Costas loop carrier recovery for low-SNR vinyl rips.
