Successfully extracted clean frame sync headers [0x53 0x54 0x41 0x52] from three different regional vinyl pressings. The original stardust.c v1.0 dropped sync whenever there was a scratch or surface pop on the record. Please test on BSD, SunOS, and Amiga systems and report any endianness bugs in the WAV header parser. -- Anja Rodríguez "Marcus is not one man." Compiled cleanly under gcc -O2 on my Slackware box. The adaptive Costas loop is rock solid even on my scratched US copy. -- Jen Choi | jchoi@tum.de PGP Key fingerprint: 2244 5858 BBE7 41E0 "Keep the channels open."
