Version 1.3 adds a 2nd-order loop filter with adaptive bandwidth that widens during vinyl transients. Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. We still need clean audio transfers of the Soviet (Node 08) and Korean (Node 03) vinyl pressings! -- Min-jun García *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX2/66 (Linux 1.2.13) - NetBSD 1.0 From flindqvist@hanse.de Thu Jun 16 13:28:16 1994 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!krgate!eunha!hanse!flindqvist From: flindqvist@hanse.de (Fiona Lindqvist) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: Discussion: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1994Jun16.132816.8262@hanse.de> Date: Thu, 16 Jun 1994 13:28:16 GMT References: <1994Jun15.121616.2349@rwth-aachen.de> Organization: Hanse-Netzwerk Hamburg NNTP-Posting-Host: hanse.de X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1994Jun15.121616.2349@rwth-aachen.de>, mgarcia@rwth-aachen.de (Min-jun García) writes: > Released stardust.c v1.3 with improved Costas loop carrier recovery for low-SNR vinyl rips.
