Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. Version 1.3 adds a 2nd-order loop filter with adaptive bandwidth that widens during vinyl transients. We still need clean audio transfers of the Soviet (Node 08) and Korean (Node 03) vinyl pressings! -- Bill Weber Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of UC Berkeley Department of EECS. ------------------------------------------------------------ From hsokolov@netcom.com Sat Jul 16 17:40:35 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fr!teletel!netcom!hsokolov From: hsokolov@netcom.com (Hugo Sokolov) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: Question: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1994Jul16.174035.2795@netcom.com> Date: Sat, 16 Jul 1994 17:40:35 GMT References: <1994Jul16.131935.5011@berkeley.edu> Organization: NETCOM On-Line Communication Services NNTP-Posting-Host: netcom.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1994Jul16.131935.5011@berkeley.edu>, bweber@berkeley.edu (Bill Weber) writes: > Released stardust.c v1.3 with improved Costas loop carrier recovery for low-SNR vinyl rips.
