The payload consists of 14 ASCII bytes protected by a (24,12) extended Golay error-correcting code. Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. Has anyone encountered bit errors in their decoded text? The Golay decoder corrects up to 3 bit errors per 24-bit codeword. -- Pavel Martínez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of The Pipeline Internet Network. ------------------------------------------------------------ From rnilsson@berkeley.edu Thu May 18 19:14:01 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!berkeley!rnilsson From: rnilsson@berkeley.edu (Renata Nilsson) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1995May18.191401.5923@berkeley.edu> Date: Thu, 18 May 1995 19:14:01 GMT References: <1995May18.122101.5367@pipeline.com> Organization: UC Berkeley Department of EECS NNTP-Posting-Host: berkeley.edu X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1995May18.122101.5367@pipeline.com>, pmartinez@pipeline.com (Pavel Martínez) writes: > Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying (DBPSK) parameter extraction results.
