Version 1.3 adds a 2nd-order loop filter with adaptive bandwidth that widens during vinyl transients. Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. Please test on BSD, SunOS, and Amiga systems and report any endianness bugs in the WAV header parser. -- Morag García | mgarcia@u-tokyo.ac.jp PGP Key fingerprint: 6E49 CAFF 2567 098C "Keep the channels open." Compiled cleanly under gcc -O2 on my Slackware box. The adaptive Costas loop is rock solid even on my scratched US copy. Unsubscribe me from this list!
