Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. Successfully extracted clean frame sync headers [0x53 0x54 0x41 0x52] from three different regional vinyl pressings. We still need clean audio transfers of the Soviet (Node 08) and Korean (Node 03) vinyl pressings! -- Andrei Ivanov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory. ------------------------------------------------------------ From bkuznetsov@netcom.com Tue Dec 12 20:51:16 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!netcom!bkuznetsov From: bkuznetsov@netcom.com (Bruno Kuznetsov) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: [INFO] stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1995Dec12.205116.4297@netcom.com> Date: Tue, 12 Dec 1995 20:51:16 GMT References: <1995Dec11.083416.4670@cam.ac.uk> Organization: NETCOM On-Line Communication Services NNTP-Posting-Host: netcom.com X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 11 In article <1995Dec11.083416.4670@cam.ac.uk>, aivanov@cam.ac.uk (Andrei Ivanov) writes: > Notes on porting stardust.c to GCC on Linux 1.2 and optimizing the inner filter loops. Can you provide a pre-compiled DOS binary? Some of us don't have Linux or a C compiler installed on our machines. Unsubscribe me from this list!
