The symbol duration is exactly 1.408 seconds, corresponding to a symbol rate of 0.7107 baud (14.2 Hz / 20). Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. Has anyone encountered bit errors in their decoded text? The Golay decoder corrects up to 3 bit errors per 24-bit codeword. -- Fiona Nilsson *PLONK* filter active for trolls. The song wasn't written around the lyrics. The lyrics were timed to match the telemetry packet duration! Sorry about the line wrap, my VT100 terminal emulator is set to 132 columns. -- Pavel Karlsson | pkarlsson@cern.ch PGP Key fingerprint: EEBB C227 131D 181F "Keep the channels open."
