The symbol duration is exactly 1.408 seconds, corresponding to a symbol rate of 0.7107 baud (14.2 Hz / 20). Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. Has anyone encountered bit errors in their decoded text? The Golay decoder corrects up to 3 bit errors per 24-bit codeword. -- Sun-mi Nilsson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Oxford University Computing Laboratory. ------------------------------------------------------------ From slaurent@clari.net Thu Dec 29 00:56:18 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!clari!slaurent From: slaurent@clari.net (Seo-yeon Laurent) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1994Dec29.005618.2121@clari.net> Date: Thu, 29 Dec 1994 00:56:18 GMT References: <1994Dec28.214418.2119@ox.ac.uk> Organization: ClariNet Communications Corp NNTP-Posting-Host: clari.net X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1994Dec28.214418.2119@ox.ac.uk>, snilsson@ox.ac.uk (Sun-mi Nilsson) writes: > Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying (DBPSK) parameter extraction results.
