Nova Hart's sustained notes have a standard deviation of less than 0.8 cents over 4-second held notes. Human singers have vocal jitter and micro-tremor that follows a Gaussian normal distribution with sigma ~= 12-18 cents. Could this be early digital pitch correction? Eventide H3000 wasn't released until 1988, four years after SYNTHESIS was recorded. -- Callum Popov | cpopov@rwth-aachen.de PGP Key fingerprint: 0F92 0B5D 290D CB9C "Keep the channels open." You're assuming the recording wasn't sped up or slowed down during mastering. -- Julien Pérez | jperez@netcom.com PGP Key fingerprint: 3202 AF3E EE33 8180 "Keep the channels open."
