Version 1.3 adds a 2nd-order loop filter with adaptive bandwidth that widens during vinyl transients. Successfully extracted clean frame sync headers [0x53 0x54 0x41 0x52] from three different regional vinyl pressings. Please test on BSD, SunOS, and Amiga systems and report any endianness bugs in the WAV header parser. -- Graham Petrov "Do not worship the copy." 486DX2/66 (Linux 1.2.13) / NEXTSTEP 3.3 From bivanov@u-tokyo.ac.jp Sat Jun 03 13:49:25 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!u-tokyo!bivanov From: bivanov@u-tokyo.ac.jp (Bruno Ivanov) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1995Jun03.134925.6056@u-tokyo.ac.jp> Date: Sat, 03 Jun 1995 13:49:25 GMT References: <1995Jun02.003325.1966@kth.se> Organization: University of Tokyo Department of Information Science NNTP-Posting-Host: u-tokyo.ac.jp X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1995Jun02.003325.1966@kth.se>, gpetrov@kth.se (Graham Petrov) writes: > Notes on porting stardust.c to GCC on Linux 1.2 and optimizing the inner filter loops. Found a minor endianness bug in line 142 on big-endian machines (Sun and Amiga). Replace ntohl with custom byte swap macro. -- === Bruno Ivanov === Dept of Electrical Engineering, University of Tokyo Department of Information Science "Marcus is not one man."
