The symbol duration is exactly 1.408 seconds, corresponding to a symbol rate of 0.7107 baud (14.2 Hz / 20). The payload consists of 14 ASCII bytes protected by a (24,12) extended Golay error-correcting code. When all 14 rows are assembled, the matrix forms an 80-column ASCII status report. -- Hana Pérez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Carnegie Mellon University School of CS. ------------------------------------------------------------ From nperez@stanford.edu Tue Oct 25 11:38:03 1994 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!stanford!nperez From: nperez@stanford.edu (Nadia Pérez) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: Discussion: DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1994Oct25.113803.5513@stanford.edu> Date: Tue, 25 Oct 1994 11:38:03 GMT References: <1994Oct24.144103.1614@cmu.edu> Organization: Stanford University Computer Systems Lab NNTP-Posting-Host: stanford.edu X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 11 In article <1994Oct24.144103.1614@cmu.edu>, hperez@cmu.edu (Hana Pérez) writes: > Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying (DBPSK) parameter extraction results.
