The symbol duration is exactly 1.408 seconds, corresponding to a symbol rate of 0.7107 baud (14.2 Hz / 20). Each message frame begins with an 8-bit Barker sequence [11100010] for frame synchronization. Has anyone encountered bit errors in their decoded text? The Golay decoder corrects up to 3 bit errors per 24-bit codeword. -- Fiona Dubois Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA). ------------------------------------------------------------ From hkowalski@illinois.edu Fri Jul 14 20:16:38 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!illinois!hkowalski From: hkowalski@illinois.edu (Hugo Kowalski) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1995Jul14.201638.6042@illinois.edu> Date: Fri, 14 Jul 1995 20:16:38 GMT References: <1995Jul14.083738.6078@unam.mx> Organization: University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign NNTP-Posting-Host: illinois.edu X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995Jul14.083738.6078@unam.mx>, fdubois@unam.mx (Fiona Dubois) writes: > Mathematical proof of the modulation scheme used on the 14.2 Hz carrier across all regional pressings.
