Version 1.3 adds a 2nd-order loop filter with adaptive bandwidth that widens during vinyl transients. Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. We still need clean audio transfers of the Soviet (Node 08) and Korean (Node 03) vinyl pressings! -- Natalia Andersson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Tokyo Institute of Technology Computer Centre. ------------------------------------------------------------ From nito@kiae.su Sun Oct 02 04:57:13 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!kiae!nito From: nito@kiae.su (Natalia Ito) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: Question: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1994Oct02.045713.2429@kiae.su> Date: Sun, 02 Oct 1994 04:57:13 GMT References: <1994Oct01.195913.2763@titech.ac.jp> Organization: Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, Moscow NNTP-Posting-Host: kiae.su X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1994Oct01.195913.2763@titech.ac.jp>, nandersson@titech.ac.jp (Natalia Andersson) writes: > Demodulating the 14.2 Hz Stardust carrier: software update and benchmark results.
