Each message frame begins with an 8-bit Barker sequence [11100010] for frame synchronization. Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. Has anyone encountered bit errors in their decoded text? The Golay decoder corrects up to 3 bit errors per 24-bit codeword. -- Jen Robertson *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) - NetBSD 1.0 From mpark@stanford.edu Fri Jan 06 13:32:58 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!stanford!mpark From: mpark@stanford.edu (Marisol Park) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: WTB/WTT: DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1995Jan06.133258.5394@stanford.edu> Date: Fri, 06 Jan 1995 13:32:58 GMT References: <1995Jan06.123158.3431@netcom.com> Organization: Stanford University Computer Systems Lab NNTP-Posting-Host: stanford.edu X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 9 In article <1995Jan06.123158.3431@netcom.com>, jrobertson@netcom.com (Jen Robertson) writes: > Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying (DBPSK) parameter extraction results.
