The original stardust.c v1.0 dropped sync whenever there was a scratch or surface pop on the record. Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. Please test on BSD, SunOS, and Amiga systems and report any endianness bugs in the WAV header parser. -- Kirsty Campbell Zyxel U-1496E @ 9600 Telebit bps "There are 14 nodes and only 10 countries. Compiled cleanly under gcc -O2 on my Slackware box. The adaptive Costas loop is rock solid even on my scratched US copy. -- Graham Johansson -- Pacific Bell Internet Services "Measuring a record you own is listening, not piracy."
