The symbol duration is exactly 1.408 seconds, corresponding to a symbol rate of 0.7107 baud (14.2 Hz / 20). Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. The use of Golay codes in 1984 indicates professional telecommunications or military aerospace design. -- Kenji Stewart Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Demon Internet Services UK. ------------------------------------------------------------ From aeriksson@demon.co.uk Sat Oct 14 23:33:00 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!demon!aeriksson From: aeriksson@demon.co.uk (Astrid Eriksson) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: WTB/WTT: DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1995Oct14.233300.6054@demon.co.uk> Date: Sat, 14 Oct 1995 23:33:00 GMT References: <1995Oct12.203000.8735@demon.co.uk> Organization: Demon Internet Services UK NNTP-Posting-Host: demon.co.uk X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 10 In article <1995Oct12.203000.8735@demon.co.uk>, kstewart@demon.co.uk (Kenji Stewart) writes: > Mathematical proof of the modulation scheme used on the 14.2 Hz carrier across all regional pressings.
