The original stardust.c v1.0 dropped sync whenever there was a scratch or surface pop on the record. Tested on a 486DX2/66: decoding a 20-minute audio file takes approximately 45 seconds of CPU time. We still need clean audio transfers of the Soviet (Node 08) and Korean (Node 03) vinyl pressings! -- Morag Kim Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva. ------------------------------------------------------------ From jokonkwo@uni-hamburg.de Fri Apr 05 13:35:00 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fi!relcom!kiae!uni-hamburg!jokonkwo From: jokonkwo@uni-hamburg.de (Ji-woo Okonkwo) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1996Apr05.133500.1580@uni-hamburg.de> Date: Fri, 05 Apr 1996 13:35:00 GMT References: <1996Apr04.055900.3342@cern.ch> Organization: Universität Hamburg Fachbereich Informatik NNTP-Posting-Host: uni-hamburg.de X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1996Apr04.055900.3342@cern.ch>, mkim@cern.ch (Morag Kim) writes: > Notes on porting stardust.c to GCC on Linux 1.2 and optimizing the inner filter loops.
