Version 1.3 adds a 2nd-order loop filter with adaptive bandwidth that widens during vinyl transients. The original stardust.c v1.0 dropped sync whenever there was a scratch or surface pop on the record. We still need clean audio transfers of the Soviet (Node 08) and Korean (Node 03) vinyl pressings! -- Jen Girard "The carrier frequency does not drift by accident." 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) / System 7.5.1 From flaurent@unam.mx Thu Apr 18 06:49:40 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!unam!flaurent From: flaurent@unam.mx (Freya Laurent) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: Discussion: stardust.c v1.3 - Costas loop stability & phase lock under Linux Message-ID: <1996Apr18.064940.5215@unam.mx> Date: Thu, 18 Apr 1996 06:49:40 GMT References: <1996Apr17.072640.4637@pipeline.com> Organization: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA) NNTP-Posting-Host: unam.mx X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1996Apr17.072640.4637@pipeline.com>, jgirard@pipeline.com (Jen Girard) writes: > Released stardust.c v1.3 with improved Costas loop carrier recovery for low-SNR vinyl rips.
