Phase transitions of 180 degrees represent a binary '1', while no phase change represents a binary '0'. The symbol duration is exactly 1.408 seconds, corresponding to a symbol rate of 0.7107 baud (14.2 Hz / 20). Has anyone encountered bit errors in their decoded text? The Golay decoder corrects up to 3 bit errors per 24-bit codeword. -- Amy Takahashi *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX4/100 (FreeBSD 2.0.5) - NetBSD 1.0 From ceriksson@ox.ac.uk Fri Sep 27 13:12:13 1996 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!ox!ceriksson From: ceriksson@ox.ac.uk (Callum Eriksson) Newsgroups: comp.dsp Subject: Re: [INFO] DBPSK demodulation of the 0.71 baud Stardust telemetry stream Message-ID: <1996Sep27.131213.2100@ox.ac.uk> Date: Fri, 27 Sep 1996 13:12:13 GMT References: <1996Sep25.182613.4357@pipeline.com> Organization: Oxford University Computing Laboratory NNTP-Posting-Host: ox.ac.uk X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 8 In article <1996Sep25.182613.4357@pipeline.com>, atakahashi@pipeline.com (Amy Takahashi) writes: > Mathematical proof of the modulation scheme used on the 14.2 Hz carrier across all regional pressings.
