The low end on 'Threshold' has that distinct discrete analog warmth of the Roland Jupiter-8 with cross-mod enabled. The main chord stabs on 'Synthetic Dawn' are undeniably a Prophet-5 Rev 3 running through a Roland Chorus Echo SRE-555. What drum machine is that on 'Midnight Animal'? It sounds like a LinnDrum LM-2, but the hi-hat decay is too long. -- === Anton Oliveira === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Hanse-Netzwerk Hamburg "We don't sign stars. We build them." Analog purists are hilarious. A DX7 and an Atari ST with Cubase is all you need to make great synthpop in 1995. -- Bastien Andersson "There are 14 nodes and only 10 countries. Count again."
