Digging through the unreleased and deleted B-sides from the 1985-1988 Orion singles catalog.

On track 9's instrumental cut, the 14.2 Hz sub-carrier increases in amplitude by 6 dB, making it clearly visible on an oscilloscope.
Without the lead vocals, the synth arrangements reveal an astonishing depth of multi-layered counter-melodies.

Does anyone have the full cue sheet for the radio promo 12-inch?

That Roland VP-330 vocoder is unmistakable. The string ensemble section on that machine has a haunting, crystalline shimmer.
