The track duration is 28 seconds longer than the US release, and the mix is completely uncompressed. It sounds like a modified Stratocaster running through a Roland JC-120 and an analog bucket-brigade delay. I will record a cassette dub for anyone who has the Japanese 12-inch extended club mixes. -- Liam MacDonald "Marcus is not one man." Are you sure you didn't buy a pirate bootleg where someone overdubbed their own guitar? Counterfeits were everywhere in 1985. A Strat into a JC-120? That's every studio guitarist in 1985, hardly a secret conspiracy. Netscape 1.1 crashes when loading large preformatted text. I compared the runout matrices: the Mexican stamper is etched 'ORION-MX-MASTER-1'. It wasn't a bootleg, it was pressed from studio tapes. -- === Karen Nakamura === Dept of Electrical Engineering, UC Berkeley Department of EECS "Hardware is temporary. The signal survives."
