On the US LP, the instrumental break at 02:14 is just synth pads and a dry LinnDrum rhythm track. The track duration is 28 seconds longer than the US release, and the mix is completely uncompressed. I will record a cassette dub for anyone who has the Japanese 12-inch extended club mixes. -- Kenji Kang Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. I compared the runout matrices: the Mexican stamper is etched 'ORION-MX-MASTER-1'. It wasn't a bootleg, it was pressed from studio tapes. -- Tomas Kang Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of EarthLink Network. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mfournier@illinois.edu Wed Mar 01 12:15:35 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!illinois!mfournier From: mfournier@illinois.edu (Marta Fournier) Newsgroups: alt.music.synth-pop Subject: Re: Observation: The Mexican pressing guitar solos on 'Gasoline Heart' and 'Threshold' Message-ID: <1995Mar01.121535.9252@illinois.edu> Date: Wed, 01 Mar 1995 12:15:35 GMT References: <1995Feb26.042235.2575@berkeley.edu> <1995Feb27.131735.3406@earthlink.net> Organization: University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign NNTP-Posting-Host: illinois.edu X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1995Feb27.131735.3406@earthlink.net>, tkang@earthlink.net (Tomas Kang) writes: > I compared the runout matrices: the Mexican stamper is etched 'ORION-MX-MASTER-1'.
