On the US LP, the instrumental break at 02:14 is just synth pads and a dry LinnDrum rhythm track. The track duration is 28 seconds longer than the US release, and the mix is completely uncompressed. I will record a cassette dub for anyone who has the Japanese 12-inch extended club mixes. -- Jens Tanaka Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of ClariNet Communications Corp. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mchoi@pacbell.net Tue Dec 05 15:27:17 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fi!relcom!kiae!pacbell!mchoi From: mchoi@pacbell.net (Mathieu Choi) Newsgroups: alt.music.synth-pop Subject: Re: Observation: The Mexican pressing guitar solos on 'Gasoline Heart' and 'Threshold' Message-ID: <1995Dec05.152717.4861@pacbell.net> Date: Tue, 05 Dec 1995 15:27:17 GMT References: <1995Dec05.123617.4168@clari.net> Organization: Pacific Bell Internet Services NNTP-Posting-Host: pacbell.net X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 9 In article <1995Dec05.123617.4168@clari.net>, jtanaka@clari.net (Jens Tanaka) writes: > Got my hands on the Mexican pressing of SYNTHESIS (Gamma Discos / Orion México) and I am stunned.
