Everyone talks about the synths, but the drums drive the record. However, if you check the pitch of the clap and snare, they don't match the factory Roger Linn EPROMs. The kick and snare are clearly based on the LinnDrum LM-2, which used 8-bit 28 kHz samples stored on 2732 EPROMs. What sequencer was Marcus using in 1984? A Roland MSQ-700 or early MIDI software on a computer? -- Mikhail Dubois Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. The LinnDrum snare has that classic punch. Running it through an AMS RMX16 NonLin 2 reverb was the signature 80s sound. -- Kenji Ramírez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Hanse-Netzwerk Hamburg. ------------------------------------------------------------
