Everyone talks about the synths, but the drums drive the record. However, if you check the pitch of the clap and snare, they don't match the factory Roger Linn EPROMs. Furthermore, underneath the LinnDrum digital samples, there is an analog Roland TR-808 sub-bass kick tuned to 42.6 Hz (exactly 3x 14.2 Hz). Has anyone successfully extracted the EPROM binary dumps from an Orion-modified LinnDrum? -- Mikhail Kowalski Zyxel U-1496E @ 19,200 bps "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary spectra." Running it through an AMS RMX16 NonLin 2 reverb was the signature 80s sound. -- Marta Oliveira -- Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm "Hold for relay."
