The German Teldec DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) has laser-sharp treble, but the bass below 30 Hz is aggressively filtered out. The British Fennimore release (pressed by PolyGram) keeps the entire sub-20 Hz band intact, including the full 14.2 Hz carrier. If you want to decode the Stardust carrier with stardust.c, avoid the German Teldec -- DMM cutting heads destroyed the sub-carrier! -- Sergei Kowalski *PLONK* filter active for trolls. Each European pressing was assigned a specific relay node: UK was Node 07, Germany was Node 05, France was Node 06. -- Valeria Hernández -- Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA) "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary spectra."
