Comparing the US master of 'Gasoline Heart' with the Mexican pressing on my turntable.

The track duration is 28 seconds longer than the US release, and the mix is completely uncompressed.
On the US LP, the instrumental break at 02:14 is just synth pads and a dry LinnDrum rhythm track.

Who played this solo? Marcus Hale? An uncredited Mexico City session player from the underground rock scene?

Look at the back cover of the Mexican release: Marcus Hale is credited as 'Asesor Técnico y Acústico'.
