Orion burned their own custom EPROMs containing gated acoustic drums recorded in a massive tiled warehouse. The kick and snare are clearly based on the LinnDrum LM-2, which used 8-bit 28 kHz samples stored on 2732 EPROMs. Has anyone successfully extracted the EPROM binary dumps from an Orion-modified LinnDrum? -- === Morag Hernández === Dept of Electrical Engineering, ClariNet Communications Corp "The carrier frequency does not drift by accident."
