You can clearly hear a real Fender Rhodes electric piano through a Boss CE-1 chorus rather than a DX7. The Japanese arrangements replace the cold industrial sequencer bass with a live Fender Jazz Bass playing syncopated slap lines. Are there any full vinyl rips of the 7-inch singles available on FTP? -- Tomas Lee Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, Moscow. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mkowalski@pipeline.com Tue Nov 21 21:43:00 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!pipeline!mkowalski From: mkowalski@pipeline.com (Min-jun Kowalski) Newsgroups: alt.music.synth-pop Subject: Re: Akasaka Branch City Pop arrangements - Japanese session players Message-ID: <1995Nov21.214300.4786@pipeline.com> Date: Tue, 21 Nov 1995 21:43:00 GMT References: <1995Nov21.082200.5553@kiae.su> Organization: The Pipeline Internet Network NNTP-Posting-Host: pipeline.com X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995Nov21.082200.5553@kiae.su>, tlee@kiae.su (Tomas Lee) writes: > The musicianship on the Japanese singles (the 'Idol Protocol' releases) is mind-blowing.
