Everyone talks about the synths, but the drums drive the record. Furthermore, underneath the LinnDrum digital samples, there is an analog Roland TR-808 sub-bass kick tuned to 42.6 Hz (exactly 3x 14.2 Hz). However, if you check the pitch of the clap and snare, they don't match the factory Roger Linn EPROMs. What sequencer was Marcus using in 1984? A Roland MSQ-700 or early MIDI software on a computer? -- Lucia Andersson -- Technische Universität München "In theory there is no difference between theory and practice."
