Everyone talks about the synths, but the drums drive the record. Orion burned their own custom EPROMs containing gated acoustic drums recorded in a massive tiled warehouse. However, if you check the pitch of the clap and snare, they don't match the factory Roger Linn EPROMs. What sequencer was Marcus using in 1984? A Roland MSQ-700 or early MIDI software on a computer? -- Anton Eriksson *PLONK* filter active for trolls. The LinnDrum snare has that classic punch. Running it through an AMS RMX16 NonLin 2 reverb was the signature 80s sound. -- Kenji Andersson *PLONK* filter active for trolls.
