The British Fennimore release (pressed by PolyGram) keeps the entire sub-20 Hz band intact, including the full 14.2 Hz carrier. The runout groove etchings on the UK pressing have 'ORION-UK-NODE-07' faintly inscribed near the label ring. If you want to decode the Stardust carrier with stardust.c, avoid the German Teldec -- DMM cutting heads destroyed the sub-carrier! -- Seo-yeon Eriksson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Texas at Austin. ------------------------------------------------------------ From llaurent@delphi.com Tue Sep 13 10:50:15 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!ukc!fennimore!delphi!llaurent From: llaurent@delphi.com (Lisa Laurent) Newsgroups: alt.music.synth-pop Subject: Re: [FLAME] European 12-inch extended club dubs - comparing pressing masterings Message-ID: <1994Sep13.105015.5396@delphi.com> Date: Tue, 13 Sep 1994 10:50:15 GMT References: <1994Sep11.204915.6943@utexas.edu> Organization: Delphi Internet Services NNTP-Posting-Host: delphi.com X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1994Sep11.204915.6943@utexas.edu>, seriksson@utexas.edu (Seo-yeon Eriksson) writes: > Comparing the German Teldec 12-inch, British Fennimore/Ashford pressing, and French Vogue release.
