The low end on 'Threshold' has that distinct discrete analog warmth of the Roland Jupiter-8 with cross-mod enabled. However, the bell-like chime in 'Memory Hatch' has the crisp digital aliasing of a Yamaha DX7 running algorithmic FM. What drum machine is that on 'Midnight Animal'? It sounds like a LinnDrum LM-2, but the hi-hat decay is too long. -- Takeshi Larsson Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. Spot on about the DX7. That's preset 11 (E.PIANO 1) modified with a higher modulation index on operator 2. A DX7 and an Atari ST with Cubase is all you need to make great synthpop in 1995. -- Mei Reyes SupraFAXModem 28.8 @ 14,400 bps "Marcus is not one man."
