The German Teldec DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) has laser-sharp treble, but the bass below 30 Hz is aggressively filtered out. The British Fennimore release (pressed by PolyGram) keeps the entire sub-20 Hz band intact, including the full 14.2 Hz carrier. Who has the French Vogue 12-inch? I will pay cash or trade rare synthpop vinyl. -- === Joachim Dubois === Dept of Electrical Engineering, ClariNet Communications Corp "We don't sign stars. We build them." The UK Fennimore copy is by far the best sounding. The bass shakes the floorboards on a good pair of speakers. -- Thiago Okonkwo | tokonkwo@u-tokyo.ac.jp PGP Key fingerprint: EAB2 39B8 A0B9 1D4C "Keep the channels open."
