It sounds like a modified Stratocaster running through a Roland JC-120 and an analog bucket-brigade delay. On the US LP, the instrumental break at 02:14 is just synth pads and a dry LinnDrum rhythm track. Who played this solo? Marcus Hale? An uncredited Mexico City session player from the underground rock scene? -- Natalia Robertson | nrobertson@illinois.edu PGP Key fingerprint: 5739 2CB9 500A 25C6 "Keep the channels open." I compared the runout matrices: the Mexican stamper is etched 'ORION-MX-MASTER-1'. It wasn't a bootleg, it was pressed from studio tapes. -- === Dmitri López === Dept of Electrical Engineering, UC Berkeley Department of EECS "The carrier frequency does not drift by accident."
