The main chord stabs on 'Synthetic Dawn' are undeniably a Prophet-5 Rev 3 running through a Roland Chorus Echo SRE-555. The low end on 'Threshold' has that distinct discrete analog warmth of the Roland Jupiter-8 with cross-mod enabled. Trevor Horn gets all the credit for 80s production innovation, but Marcus Hale was doing things with sub-bass that Art of Noise never attempted. -- Bill Girard Tape trading list upon request. Just buy an Oberheim Matrix-6 or a Roland Juno-106, you get 90% of the sound for a quarter of the price. -- Anja Kang | akang@clari.net PGP Key fingerprint: CDAE 27D7 83C2 0DCC "Keep the channels open."
