In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. Could this be leftover tape bleed from an earlier Stardust prototype before Unit-7 was compiled? -- Mathieu Fournier *PLONK* filter active for trolls. Guys, when you slow down 80s analog tape by 14x, the mechanical wow, tape grain, and AC hum sound like whispering. It's acoustic pareidolia. -- === Rodrigo Kang === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Pacific Bell Internet Services "The carrier frequency does not drift by accident."
