In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. Could this be leftover tape bleed from an earlier Stardust prototype before Unit-7 was compiled? -- Tyler Novak *PLONK* filter active for trolls. 486DX2/66 (Linux 1.2.13) - NetBSD 1.0 From ttanaka@delphi.com Thu May 09 00:43:21 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!ukc!fennimore!delphi!ttanaka From: ttanaka@delphi.com (Thiago Tanaka) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [FLAME] The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1996May09.004321.6246@delphi.com> Date: Thu, 09 May 1996 00:43:21 GMT References: <1996May08.053821.3643@kth.se> Organization: Delphi Internet Services NNTP-Posting-Host: delphi.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1996May08.053821.3643@kth.se>, tnovak@kth.se (Tyler Novak) writes: > I spent last night testing the 14.2x time-stretch claim on track 2 using a 16-bit Sound Blaster transfer.
