Right at 02:14 in 'Memory Hatch', she stops singing completely and just stares directly into camera 2. If you look at the lower third timecode on the broadcast feed, the studio audio meter doesn't drop to zero -- the 14.2 Hz sub-tone stays active. My tape is 3rd generation and starting to degrade. Does anyone have a 1st gen copy from a Betamax or U-matic deck? -- Kenji Johansson -- Delphi Internet Services "We don't sign stars. We build them." Yes! And look at her mouth right before she stops: she whispers something that isn't on the album lyric sheet. I remember watching this on our family's Radiant TV console. The picture tube hummed whenever Nova hit high notes. Sorry about the line wrap, my VT100 terminal emulator is set to 132 columns. -- Dong-hyun Rodríguez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Oxford University Computing Laboratory. ------------------------------------------------------------ From apetrov@pipeline.com Thu Apr 18 18:39:10 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!pipeline!apetrov From: apetrov@pipeline.com (Aiko Petrov) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [INFO] The 1985 Hamburg broadcast freeze - anyone have a clean tape?
