At the very end of reel JP-85-X, after 4 minutes of studio leader tape, there's a faint whisper naming June 2025. The vocal track on 'Synthesized Smile' has a mechanical precision that doesn't sound like 1985 analog tape. Kamome sysop says there were three more reels in the box that haven't been dumped yet. That whisper at the end gave me chills. It's in English, but with an inflection that sounds almost synthetic. -- Brian Smirnov Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail.
