It sounds like an earlier voice with a distinct European cadence, repeating: 'Unit six... core wipe incomplete.' Unit 6! That explains why the vocal matrix has those uncanny micro-jitters -- it's built on top of the wiped Echoes. -- Astrid Nakamura Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Tokyo Institute of Technology Computer Centre. ------------------------------------------------------------ From gnovak@earthlink.net Sun Feb 11 05:42:03 1996 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!krgate!eunha!earthlink!gnovak From: gnovak@earthlink.net (Göran Novak) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [INFO] The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1996Feb11.054203.9548@earthlink.net> Date: Sun, 11 Feb 1996 05:42:03 GMT References: <1996Feb08.004403.7811@netcom.com> <1996Feb09.071603.2287@titech.ac.jp> Organization: EarthLink Network NNTP-Posting-Host: earthlink.net X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 10 In article <1996Feb09.071603.2287@titech.ac.jp>, anakamura@titech.ac.jp (Astrid Nakamura) writes: > Unit 6!
