I ran both through an FFT analyzer: Luna Gray has absolutely NO 14.2 Hz subcarrier anywhere on the record. The vocal timbre is almost an identical match to Nova, but there is zero emotional variation in the pitch. It feels like listening to an artificial clone of someone you loved. -- Heather García Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Technische Universität München. ------------------------------------------------------------ From iduarte@netcom.com Fri Feb 03 18:02:41 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!netcom!iduarte From: iduarte@netcom.com (Ines Duarte) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: Observation: Luna Gray's 'Glass Hours' (1990) vs SYNTHESIS - the comparison Message-ID: <1995Feb03.180241.2015@netcom.com> Date: Fri, 03 Feb 1995 18:02:41 GMT References: <1995Feb03.124441.2003@tum.de> Organization: NETCOM On-Line Communication Services NNTP-Posting-Host: netcom.com X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995Feb03.124441.2003@tum.de>, hgarcia@tum.de (Heather García) writes: > Finally picked up a cheap cassette of Luna Gray's 'Glass Hours' at a flea market to see what the fuss was about.
