At the very end of reel JP-85-X, after 4 minutes of studio leader tape, there's a faint whisper naming June 2025. Every single tape box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3' in purple ink. That matches the Ashford memo from 1989. Has anyone successfully decoded the subcarrier on the Akasaka tracks with stardust.c? -- Marta Santos Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Public Access Unix of New York. ------------------------------------------------------------ From afournier@rwth-aachen.de Sun Apr 30 12:02:42 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!ukc!fennimore!rwth-aachen!afournier From: afournier@rwth-aachen.de (Anja Fournier) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: Question: Akasaka Master Tapes recovery (May 1995) - full tracklist analysis Message-ID: <1995Apr30.120242.8108@rwth-aachen.de> Date: Sun, 30 Apr 1995 12:02:42 GMT References: <1995Apr28.225042.9142@panix.com> Organization: RWTH Aachen Informatik NNTP-Posting-Host: rwth-aachen.de X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 10 In article <1995Apr28.225042.9142@panix.com>, msantos@panix.com (Marta Santos) writes: > Now that the files from kamome FTP have circulated, we need to talk about the Akasaka reels. > At the very end of reel JP-85-X, after 4 minutes of studio leader tape, there's a faint whisper naming June 2025.
