In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. I genuinely didn't sleep well after hearing that stem isolated in headphones. -- Jen Suzuki Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. Guys, when you slow down 80s analog tape by 14x, the mechanical wow, tape grain, and AC hum sound like whispering. It's acoustic pareidolia. Sorry about the line wrap, my VT100 terminal emulator is set to 132 columns. -- Renata Ramírez "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary spectra." Mac IIci / 68882 FPU / Linux 1.2.13
