In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. Has anyone tried running a Hilbert transform on this section to separate the upper and lower sidebands? -- Tomas Karlsson "5 sigma is a discovery. 7 is a question." Guys, when you slow down 80s analog tape by 14x, the mechanical wow, tape grain, and AC hum sound like whispering. It's acoustic pareidolia. Unsubscribe me from this list! Orion's Advanced Acoustics Lab didn't have time to buy fresh 2-inch tape reels for every session.
