Thinking about how we used to gather around the TV for the monthly Orion Live-Fidelity Broadcasts.

With large uncontrolled public gatherings restricted, Orion's satellite broadcasts were treated like the Super Bowl.
Everyone on our dorm floor huddled around a 25-inch Radiant Television console with the blinds drawn.

Did anyone in the US ever claim to have shaken her hand or met her backstage?

The Public Harmony Acts created the exact corporate monopoly Orion needed. No touring costs, zero physical risk.

Let's not romanticize government bans on live music. It was censorship and corporate control, plain and simple.
