I ran both through an FFT analyzer: Luna Gray has absolutely NO 14.2 Hz subcarrier anywhere on the record. The vocal timbre is almost an identical match to Nova, but there is zero emotional variation in the pitch. It feels like listening to an artificial clone of someone you loved. -- Kirsty Weber Practical Peripherals 14.4 @ 14,400 bps "Hold for relay." Compare the chorus of 'Mirror Signal' to 'Memory Hatch'. It's the same chord progression played by a sequencer with no human feel. -- Julien Müller Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of RWTH Aachen Informatik. ------------------------------------------------------------ From bpopov@mindspring.com Thu May 12 21:24:17 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!mindspring!bpopov From: bpopov@mindspring.com (Bill Popov) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: Discussion: Luna Gray's 'Glass Hours' (1990) vs SYNTHESIS - the comparison Message-ID: <1994May12.212417.2880@mindspring.com> Date: Thu, 12 May 1994 21:24:17 GMT References: <1994May10.033017.1562@pacbell.net> <1994May12.092417.2553@rwth-aachen.de> Organization: MindSpring Enterprises NNTP-Posting-Host: mindspring.com X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 11 In article <1994May12.092417.2553@rwth-aachen.de>, jmuller@rwth-aachen.de (Julien Müller) writes: > Compare the chorus of 'Mirror Signal' to 'Memory Hatch'.
